Gary Lord
Gary is recognized as an international artist, teacher, and author. He has appeared hundreds of times as a demonstrator for decorative painting on HGTV's "Decorating With Style", "The Carol Duvall Show", the PBS show "Paint!, Paint!, Paint!", and The Discovery Channel's "Christopher Lowell Show". He can also be seen on "Home Matters", and the regional cable programs "Around The House", and "Home Works". In 2007, American Painting Contractor named Gary to the top spot in "Who's Who in Decorative Painting in America".
Gary has 3 best selling books, Great Paint Finishes for a Gorgeous Home, Marvelous Murals You Can Paint, and It's Faux Easy. He is currently writing his 4th book, which will showcase 20 different mural artists. You can find his articles on decorative painting in nearly every magazine covering the subject.
Besides Wall Options, Gary also owns and operates Prismatic Painting Studio, which allows him to teach his trade to artists of all skill levels, all around the world.
Kris Hampton
Wall Option's job supervisor, Kris began his first series of murals in a church when he was only 14. 18 years later, and the brush has never left his hand. After attending the art education program at Wilmington College, Kris decided his heart was in the creation of, and not the teaching of art. He has been a professional artist since 1996, and with Wall Options since 1998. His murals and finishes have helped Wall Options win countless awards, and have appeared in many major decorative painting magazines. Kris will be featured in a soon to be published book by Gary Lord which features and profiles 20 mural artists.
Joe Taylor
After 20 years as a commercial illustrator and with a fine art education from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Joe followed in his grandfather's footsteps and began learning the decorative arts. He has been working with Wall Options since 1997, and because of his commercial art background, is the go-to-guy for photo realistic trompe l'oeil and airbrush work. Joes work with Wall Options has been featured in many major industry magazines, and has aided Wall Options in winning numerous awards. His murals will be featured in Gary Lord's soon to be published book which features and profiles 20 mural artists.
Jeff Sutherland
Jeff has been involved in the decorative and restorative arts since 1977. With a degree from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, he is also an accomplished fine artist. Jeff has been with Wall Options since 1999, working part time, while he pursues his fine art career. Jeffs mural work is unparalleled, and his flair for the creative and quirky has inspired the entire Wall Options team.
